Mom's Birthday Cake
Ingredients
- 3/4 (95g) cup Cocoa or Special Dark Cocoa powder
- 2 (402g) cups sugar
- 1.75 (220g) cups flour
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 1.5 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup (240g) milk
- 2 eggs
- 0.5 cup (48g) vegetable oil
- 1 cup boiling Water
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350
- Grease and flour two 9" round pans
- Stir sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
- Add eggs, milk, oil, vanilla
- Beat on medium for 2 minutes
- Stir in boiling Water
- Pour into pans
- Bake 30-35 minutes
- Cool 10 minutes
